i'm loving proxmox, especialy the 2.0 version, it's a great product. I have it running on some servers and im trying to setup a new one.
Here is the catch:
It has adaptec 2405 Raid Controller and every time i try to install Proxmox or Debian with LVM setup it hangs on partitioning.
I have 4xSATA 500GB disks on a supermicro sas815tq backplane configured in RAID 10.
After a lot of searching I found in a Adaptec raid manual that the adaptec raid drivers do not support LVM, but using debian whitout LVM it still hangs during partitioning.
Can someone explain to me what could be wrong? Your wiki and some forum posts say that adaptec 2405 works out of the box.
