Hello there,

we have a Proxmox MG 6.2 2 node Cluster up and running. We also have Active Directory LDAPS configured.
Sync gives Groups and Users in Usermanagement.

However, Quarantine Login with Active Directory Account is not possible. Also we don't get it, if it should be possible to give some AD-Users the right to login to the Admin-Backend.

Login gives Jul 20 15:56:32 RZA-PROXMOX pmgdaemon[976]: authentication failure; rhost=10.255.14.1 user=[username@fqdn]@quarantine msg=ldap login failed

What could be wrong?

However, Quarantine Login with Active Directory Account is not possible.
What's the setting of GUI->Configuration->Spam Detector->Quarantine->Authentication Mode?

Also we don't get it, if it should be possible to give some AD-Users the right to login to the Admin-Backend.
currently this is not implemented - LDAP is only used for end-users (quarantine access) and in the rule system

I hope this helps!

Hello Stoiko,

thanks for your answer.

GUI->Configuration->Spam Detector->Quarantine->Authentication Mode is set to LDAP or Ticket.

msg=ldap login failed
this sounds like a failure to bind to the AD with the provided credentials on first sight

is the password correct?
if you're sure - please provide the ldap configuration (remove the password)
