Access to terminal during Proxmox install?

Is there anyway to access the terminal during the Proxmox install? or if I abort the install, is there anyway to restart the GUI install without rebooting the computer?

I need to be able to manually load a module during the install process for a storage device.
 
yes, just start in debug mode, and you will get terminal access at several stages (press ctrl-d to continue).

I tied this, but I only get the initial terminal where I can't load a module, another terminal doesn't come before you set up the disk.
 
Just for anyone who looks back on this post, the command xinit restarts the GUI installer.
