Access to LVM partions

There are a few ways to access the VM's lvm disks. There are also as many ways to corrupt the data if one is not careful.
If VM is inactive you can simply mount the partition.
You can also dd it into a file and mount that file as loop device.
You dont want to be accessing the disk while its in use by Qemu.
