Access Proxmox and VMs using a domain

I was wondering if there was a way to access my Proxmox dashboard of all my servers with a domain or something. And also maybe be able to access my VMs with that same domain and make multiple subdomains for each thing for example proxmoxdashboard.mydomain.com (for the proxmox server dashboard) or myvm1.mydomain.com (for my vm).

Sorry if this sounds a bit confising,

You will need to create a records for each subdomain you want to use and point to the ip address.

Example:
If your promox host in on 192.168.1.10:8006 you will need an a record (or alias) for proxmoxdashboard.mydomain.com > 192.168.1.10

As for the vm itself, the VM's do not answer by a hostname or ip in a browser, although the underlying vm will answer to a hostname (but that is outside the scope of the Proxmox management interface)

I've done this but now I'm running in an other problem.
When setting up the server it was only meant to be in the local network. So 192.168.1.10:8006 was for the access to proxmox and 192.168.2.1 and 192.168.2.2 was for the VMs. Now i pointed my URL via reverse proxy to 192.168.1.10:8006 and I have access to the dashboard. But as soon as I try to start a console it uses the IP of the VM. What to change so I'll be able to access the console if I'm not connected to the local network?
