Hello Proxmox Community
(and sorry if this is not the correct forum)

A friend and I have been working on a Java library that makes it easy to interact with Proxmox VE: PVE4J.

We know that alternatives already exist, but none of them matched what we were looking for. Our goal was to have something simple to use, fully object-oriented, and with precise documentation and a detailed wiki. So we decided to build our own.

We have both been using Proxmox for many years, both personally and professionally. We truly hope it can be useful to the community and help others build tools or integrations around Proxmox more easily.

The library is still a work in progress, and some features may be missing for now, but we are actively working on a new version that will include additional endpoints and improvements.

We would really love to hear your feedback, suggestions, or ideas from fellow Proxmox users

Have a nice day!

I somehow really wonder who on Earth would require a java lib in 2026, but hey, you do you, nice work!
Maybe that can be useful on Android though..
Thanks a lot :)
I really like to work with Java so I will be using it, but maybe it can help other peoples, Android is a great idea! Who knows, next step could be PVE App on the Play Store haha
