Hi all,

Fairly new to Proxmox and essentially one of my hosts in a 3 host cluster has 9 VMS on it all with internet connectivity however when I add any new VMS onto this host, it won't connect to the internet. It will just say 'unidentified network' meaning I have to migrate it to one of the other hosts where the internet works completely fine.

No idea whatsoever on what's going on here. Has anyone else ran into this problem and if so do you know of a fix for it?

Thanks!

Compare the configuration:
  • have all of them a NIC on the same bridge?
  • are all of them running the same OS? (You didn't tell if it is Open- or Net-Bsd. Just kidding...)
  • from inside the guests: compare the IP address and the default gateway
  • how do they get this network configuration? By DHCP? Is the address pool exhausted?
Basically you need to give us some more details - without them you only get rough and basic hints...
