How can I start all VMs that have the 'start at boot' option checked? We weekly shut down all VMs and do a backup while shut down and the previous method we used to start all back up is no longer working in version 5.x.

We were stopping the pve-manager service and then starting again. This no longer appears to work.

The VMs are shut down with a script b/c some are too old to run the agent package.

I would like to do something similar to the '--all' option on vzdump.

Possible?

Hi,

you can use the "Bulk Actions" on the GUI it is located on node Level.
There you can stop/start all VMs you select.

You can use the scheduler to do that it is located in the Datacenter section under Backup.

Does the equivalent exist command line? The backups are controlled by a script.

pvesh is what your are looking for.
