3D graphics acceleration in Proxmox?

For the first time in a decade, I'm looking into changing hypervisors for my home lab. Cuz Broadcom ;)

Back in the day, Hyper-V was a top contender because RemoteFX a) doesn't require VT-d and b) doesn't require a special Nvidia enterprise GPU. Unfortunately, RemoteFX is gone now and the GPU partitioning "replacement" solution requires both a) and b), neither of which are available on this host.

IIRC a decade ago Proxmox only had straight up GPU passthrough to a single guest (which, again, would not work on this host due to lack of VT-d), but I'm wondering if there are more/better options now? To be clear, the VM doesn't need to run Monster Hunter Wilds at 4K 120 fps with ray tracing, it just needs to be enough to start a game and get 20 fps at minimum settings, which is beyond the ability of your typical software emulation GPU.
