Hey there everyone,
I have 3 Nics in each of my Proxmox hosts. I have 4 of them Clustered, Yes i know i need to add another host so I have odd number of hosts in the cluster. Back to the reason for this question. I am trying to test pfsense in a VM because I want to learn it. I have 3 Nics attached to the VM and I have a VLan3 network that I am trying to test out it is .3.0/24 However the Nics on the hosts are talking to each other with .3.xxx/24 (One of the Nics of course) Then I tried to assign the Nic an IP in the same subnet in pfsense made sure the Firewall rules were set properly, Then I ping from the firewall to hosts and nothing:
I know pfsense is involved, I just want make sure there is nothing hardware-wise i am forgetting
Like in the /etc/interfaces as far the config goes.
By the way the 3 Nics are assigned different subnets.
Thanks guys, I hope that was enough info for you,
Michael
