Hello

I have some question that dont find a solution in any threat.

I am trying to install a w2016 vm to host a fileserver with 1.5tb of data. I have give in the vm setup a 2.5tb disk space but when I create it with BIOS, it only shows 2tb of data and MBR disk. If I create it with UEFI, it shows the 2.5tb and and GTP partition.

What do you recomend me? I would like to setup a HA servers so I dont want so have any problem with the UEFI data when migrating to the other server if the main one fails.

Thanks

Hi! thanks for the answer.

Therefore, how it will work for backups and host migration. I made dayly backup using acronis in the guest. So i suppose that I will have to backup a disk partition. But how will I have to manage the vm migration to another host?

Thanks

backup and migration are for guest and include all disk . it not only for a disk partition.
so you can setup more disk partition.

I am not good at English.
