After updating to 9.0.12 and then 9.0.13, sorting VMs by Name in Tree View is not working:

Before - You can see in this screenshot that the VMs and containers are sorted by Name:

After updating to 9.0.12 and beyond, sorting by Name is not working. It will only sort by VMID:

I had my VMs and containers sorted by name and after the update to 9.0.12, it no longer sorts by name. I updated to 9.0.13 and it still has this issue. Clearing cookies, logging out and rebooting does not help.

Now on 9.0.16 and the bug is still there.

I know this is not a huge bug or issue but its super annoying to me. Is anyone else seeing this?
Probably I do not understand your question.

You selected "Group Guest Types". And in the second screenshot I can see exactly that. The four containers are sorted by name and so are all "Arch-xyz" VMs.

Which entry is wrong?

I edited my post. See above and then read this. After updating to 9.0.12 and beyond Sorting by NAME does not work. It will ONLY sort by VMID.

it's still sorted by name:

108 Arch-Budgie comes before
102 Arch-Cinnamon

but the rendering is wrong (vmid before name). I'll look into it

Please take a look at the second screenshot. Its clearly sorted by Name. The name of the VM comes first. Example Arch-Gnome (101). In the second screenshot its sorted by VMID. Example 101 (Arch-Gnome).

Sorting by name used to show the Name of the VM or container first. Now its broken since updating to 9.0.12. No matter what you select its sorted by VMID. Meaning it will only show VMID before the name.

Sorting by name should have it sort like I show in the second screenshot.

i think you misunderstood me:

the list is still sorted by name, but the individual entries are wrongly rendered (vmid before name)

anyway, thanks for reporting, i sent a patch that should fix it:
