I had followed the previous iGPU passthrough guide to passthrough a 12th Gen AlderLake GPU UHD730 to a Ubuntu box, I had made the ubuntu recognized the hardware, and installed the latest nightly and stable mesa utility, and updated latest kernal to 5.16. although the driver all seems installed correctly, however i am having very poor framerate even in just desktop environment without game.
the ubuntu desktop is running at about 2fps....... which make it no useable. if using standard VGA or Virtio-GPU, i have a normal framerate but without display output.
anyone can enlight me what could be the problem? thank you.
