Das ist bei servershop24 normal die verkaufen ja gebrauchte. Aber hatte nie schlechte Erfahrungen mit denen
 
Hmm ja ok da hast du recht aber eigentlich auch nur noch für den Mittelstand. Wir verbauen schon 40GB Karten drunter nur noch selten.
 
Baut ihr damit auch Storages? Mich würde ja mal interessieren wie gut iSCSI auf den schnellen Bussen ist. Bisher hab ich noch nie ein iSCSI-System bei einem Kunden gesehen, dass auch annähernd an ein FC-basiertes System rankam (alles irgendwie "low-budget"-Systeme). Wenn man schon so teure Netzwerkkarten verbaut wird man bestimmt auch sonst alles auf Geschwindigkeit auslegen.

Ihr stellt euch wegen 25€ an, hab Sie nun gekauft und sag euch bescheid vielleicht kann ich euch auch ein Testsystem bereitstellen.
 
Ach, was heisst anstellen...Zu Hause brauch ich's nicht. Auf Arbeit kommen eh alle Server mit Intel Karten. Und auf den in meiner Freizeit betreueten Systemen wäre der Switch dafür dann wieder zu teuer. Aber bei servethehome gibt es scheinbar einen Haufen zufriedene Leute.
 
Also ich probiers auf jeden Fall auch aus. Aber erst nach Weihnachten, dann ist für sowas wieder ein wenig Zeit :)
 
Hi,

also ich baue gerade einen kleinen Cluster mit (HP) Mellanox Infiniband-Karten und einem Voltaire 4036-Switch. Läuft unter Proxmox "out-of-the-box". Habe allerdings etwas andere Karten (Dual -VPI-Version).

Speed ist (noch ohne jegliches tuning) schon ganz ok:

Eine günstige Quelle für Kabel fehlt mir aber auch noch....
