Replication of VMs from NodeA to NodeB without cluster

Hello. I have a question about best practive for replication of VMs from NodeA to NodeB. At the moment we replicate ESXi VMs from NodeA to NodeB. If NodeA fails, the VMs will be started on NodeB manually. What would be best practive for that? From what i have found, we would need a custer and...
