firewall macros

Hello all, i try to understand the PVE Firewall in detail and wonder, what ithe predefined fireall macros do ? I searched documentation and the forums but did not find the exact definitions. I don't mid to look in source code but don't know where to start ? Any pointer is appreciated ...
