    Host file wrong?

    Hey all, So I have in my host file an entry for my NAS 123.123.123.1 nas.domain.com That should work right, to resolve the NAS, even if DNS is down? Am I doing it wrong? Because I had a power failure today and it would not resolve till I had pihole back up :(

    Mail gateway does a double DNS lookup and adds local domain name

    I am using 6.4-4 and after looking at my dns lookup logs I see an oddity I can't figure out. For example, if my server is example.com and an external server (smtp.someserver.com) connects my server does a look up for smtp.someserver.com.example.com. Obviously this is returned as NXDOMAIN.
