I first had a 1TB SSD and a secondary 1TB hdd in my system. I upgraded the secondary 1TB HDD to a 2TB SSD.
I created the directory on the old 1TB HDD so now i have a 1TB directory and can't seem to resize it to 2TB.
Now the problem is that the partition is 2TB but the directory doesn't change...
i have a proxmox installation on a server.
In this server, i have put some linked folders and some storages as following:
- local network drive mounted on another PC (500gb)
- onedrive with 2tb
- 1 SSD 1TB
- 7 HDD 1TB (i made a ZFS pool)
- 1 SDcard (512gb)
the issue is...
I setup a connection to my NAS to store ISOs, and I was surprised to see Proxmox insists on its own directory path on my NAS, rather than me being able to choose.
I know I could setup a symlink from template/iso myself, but there's still an odd looking 'template' dir in my root.
I have gone through the process of partitioning a harddrive to allocate 300GB for ISO/template storage. Every time I create a directory in that partition, it only allocates 6.7GB.
Is there a way to resize a directory or allocate a specific size on initialization?
I recently deleted a directory in my PVE that contained three VMs. Now, not only can I not access them (understandably), but they still appear in my VM list (Server view) on the left pane.
I was planning to rebuild these VMs anyway, so I'm not interested in recovering them, unless it's really...
