decrease hdd qcow2

hi, a little question, i have create a qcow2 hdd with 1 tb space. i have only installed linux and a tool, hdd size is 2.2gb, but qcow2 file on storage is 1 tb, why it is fullsoze and not autosize? how can i make it smaller? and how can i decrease the hdd in proxmox? regards
