Thanks for the quick response. With ldapsearch .crt extension worked fine, but it did not with proxmox. I was able to resolve it by changing the SSL certificate extension to .pem.

I tried this on Microsever Gen8 as well and make failed due to space error at the end. I already have proxmox LVM with about 35G left for /usr/src. Any idea if the compile requires more space?

This does not work on HP Microserver Gen8 unfortnately. The kernel patch is still required for this model.
