Monitoring systems have already all the interfaces for grouping, alarming, thresholds etc.; and all such special features, monitoring needs. It´s a question of scope, the proxmox team answered in a clever way in my opinion.

Hey, it seems to me, that you try to use a ressource from the VM "Truenas" in the proxmox hypervisor. Then, if the VM hangs or is offline, you will have problems. From 1st view it looks more as a configuration mismatch as an hardware error.

Same here. Deleting it 2nd time helped. No reboot was required.

We have same "Guest has not initialized display ..." if we set "freeze CPU at startup". Even freeze=1 does not show up in your qm config, maybe you have a problem with the cpu-type of the VM. Did you try "host" already?

In our cluster there the VMs are renamed often. So "most of us administrators" - 1. Please do not put any part of the VM Name in the disk-names.
