Proxmox 7.3 reboot randomly / Kernel panic

Just chiming in to say that I'm also experiencing unexpected server reboots/crashes about every 2-3 days since maybe a week or two. Barely able to pinpoint any information. Sometimes the server is just hard frozen, sometimes it reboots on its own, no indication in logs whatsoever...

pfSense VM limited to 1GbE speed

I seem to be missing something in my configuration. Running on my pve server are a couple of LXCs and 2 VMs (1 for docker, another with pfSense as my VLAN/WAN router). All the LXCs and both VMs are linked via the same Linux bridge on Proxmox. I can get >60 Gbit/s via iperf3 between LXCs and...

Driver support for IGP in i3-9xxx CPUs

I have a new rig here with an Intel i3-9350K CPU (https://ark.intel.com/content/www/de/de/ark/products/186606/intel-core-i3-9350k-processor-8m-cache-up-to-4-60-ghz.html). Unfortunately even after installing vainfo and i965-va-driver packages, vainfo is still unable to see the GPU. I'm unsure...

Kernel Bug: Unable to start Windows VM

Uhm... let me check. I rebooted today, so it looks like for some reason it did not pick a newer kernel. Ok...checked. A grub-install on the boot device somehow fixed it. Not sure what was wrong, but looking into it. 5.3 kernel is now running and the Windows VM is starting. Thanks. :)

Kernel Bug: Unable to start Windows VM

Sometime last year I had set up a Windows VM on my Proxmox host. It was only occasionally used and worked fine until some time ago. Now every time I try to boot that VM, syslog shows a kernel bug and the VM fails to start. I tried setting up a completely new Win10 VM from scratch, but that...

    No frame buffer device (fb0)

Somehow none of my PVE hypervisors is currently having a framebuffer device under /dev/fb0. It was certainly there some time ago, as it was passed through to my Plex LXC container for hardware accelerated transcoding (Intel Quicksync). The missing frame buffer device is currently causing Plex to...
