Nevermind... fixed by changing:
iface enp37s0 inet manual
...
iface vmbr0 inet static
bridge-ports enp37s0
on the proxmox interfaces
That said, it looks like the proxmox webui can't quite do this on its own.
I'm trying to set up my first VM, but I'm new to proxmox (6.0) and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. From the looks of it, I think I have the networks on the proxmox machine right based on the docs:
/etc/network/interfaces:
auto enp37s0
iface enp37s0 inet static
address...
Indeed it did, I ended up having to install PVE on top of Debian. I was able to get into the web ui, but after I made a few quick setup changes (added a network bridge, so probably unrelated), I rebooted to apply the changes, and it goes to a black screen again on the server. Last thing I see in...
Just built a new machine with following:
ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Gaming-ITX/ac
Ryzen 2200G
Intel 660p 1TB
Installing ProxMox 6.0 from USB, UEFI and Legacy both boot into the install options screen fine, but screen goes blank shortly after initial load screen.
