Okay nach dem ich die treiber von virtio-win-0.1-30.iso installiert habe kann ich auch den QEMU Guest Agent starten. Jedoch zeigt er mir die IP immerrnoch nicht in der Summary in PVE an, das wird dann wohl an dem veralteten stuff liegen... (hoffen wir mal das ich die XP VM zeitnah abschalten...

Hab einige Versionen ausprobiert. Sowohl bei virtio-win-0.1.137.iso, als auch bei virtio-win-0.1.141.iso kommt dieser Fehler beim Starten des Dienstes

Hm hab E:\guest-agent\qemu-ga-x86.msi installiert, aber bei start über services.msc kommt dieser fehler: Jmd ne idee wie ich die guest tools unter XP SP3 ans laufen bekomme? :O

I do not know if clearing Cache or disabling locking on the Synology did fix my problem, but on of both things did help. I did not experience this problem for the last 4 days.

you mean the hostname? that would be fine if it gets shown like this in the webui. Do i just need to edit /etc/hosts and /etc/hostname? The page says this needs to be done on an empty node, does this mean no vm/lxc? I would just like to change the gui name in the webinterface

I cleared the SMB Cache and diasbled Opportunistic Locking in the File Share on our Synology NAS. Maybe this will help...
