Fail to boot after install ZFS RaidZ2 10 drives

I thought of that, but I have moved the drives around and installed them in multiple arrangements and the behaviour is all the same. It is always, Install sees all drives fine and configures them and then fails to load after reboot. I think @dcsapak 's recommendation about the delay setting is...

Fail to boot after install ZFS RaidZ2 10 drives

I am working on a method to deploy clusters on a variety of hardware configurations while keeping it as simple as possible. I will be providing a step-by-step instruction guide to moderately technical people who very easily could get confused. Sometimes it just is what it is and the "why don't...

Fail to boot after install ZFS RaidZ2 10 drives

Thanks for pointing out the rootdelay detail. I will look at that. Yes, as I mentioned in my original post, ZFS with 2,4,6, or 8 drives all work just fine. I suppose I wasn't as clear as I could have been. Which specific logs would you suggest would have the detail needed to identify the...

    Good Practice for Home Server

I would double check your processor stats... pretty sure you listed a 4 core processor and the T110 only has 1 cpu. Honestly I think you would be better off with a t610 or t710 if you can find one. They won't be much more and they have way more capacity. Make sure first thing is update...

Bandwidth throttling for PVE backup job

2 things.. 1) If you have enough space on a local disk, back it up locally and then copy it across with the backup job hook. 2) Depending on what you are backing up, maybe get the free version of veeam and install the agent on the VM and to incremental backups.

Cluster Config multiple NICs for cluster traffic

Thank you Gosha for responding. I think I worded my question poorly and that is my bad... sorry I thought the ring0/1 settings were for cluster communication and I think I understand this part well enough... I should have asked about migration settings, I think In the datacenter.cfg like...

Cluster Config multiple NICs for cluster traffic

**I have tried searching. However if an answer has been posted somewhere please drop a link. **I debated if I should put this here or in networking....so if it is in the wrong place let me know. I am able to configure a 2 node cluster no problem. I am using directly connected 40gb NICs for...

    [SOLVED] OMSA srvadmin-itunnelprovider, unmet dependencies

#First post... For anyone who might be fighting with this Just installed Proxmox 5.3 on a Dell r510. Here is how I made OMSA 9.2 work. Just a note, I commented out a couple of packages from the jesse repo because there were newer ones extant. Hope this helps save some hours for someone...
