I tried installing a brand new VM, replacing one of the migrated ones and it has none of the issues. I will probably resort to reinstalling the others over time as well. Any ideas as to what could be causing this with migrated VMs from an older KVM server?
Mor info: I thought it may be the software raid performance causing problems with virtio or something, so I got some measurements:
root@srv1:~# dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/output conv=fdatasync bs=50k count=10k; rm -f /tmp/output
10240+0 poster in
10240+0 poster ut
524288000 byte (524 MB, 500 MiB)...
