Zum Vergleich: Version 6.3-4: root@node1:~# pvesh get /nodes/$HOSTNAME/qemu/$vmid/config --output-format json |jq { "bootdisk": "virtio0", "cores": 12, "cpu": "host"...

    API liefert keine Werte

Wrong stats for memory and disk usage

I've created our storage with ashift = 9 so i don't think this can really help. As only the delta is synced to the standby node I did not thought that it will take the hole disk space twice... hmm

Wrong stats for memory and disk usage

Using qemu agent could probably do the trick, but don't mind... thats not really the problem here.

Wrong stats for memory and disk usage

We have a two node "Cluster" running only a single VM which is acting as Firewall. The VM is stored on ZFS with 50GB of size - the content gots replicated between those two nodes. Problem 1 I noticed that the usage of memory and storage does not reflect reality. The VM itself has allocated...

    Number of Cores and Sockets

I'm not really sure about setting the CPU's for a VM. Our Servers have 2 Sockets with 8 Cores per Socket and 2 Threads per Core... So all in all not more than 32 "virtual" CPU's. However, due dome reason I'm able to give to a VM a maximum of 4 Sockets and 128 cores - How is that? The hypervisor...

    Howto migrate from xen project?

Hi Tim, thanks for your reply. Well, it looks like it's is not that easy (for us). Right now we are using Paravirtualized guests which are booted via pygrub (with LVM as storage), so none of them is using a bootloader in the "classical" way. The thing is, i don't know how to create a MBR /...

    Howto migrate from xen project?

We are running a few machines on xen project 4.8, all of them are running debian (version 7, 8, 9). I'm looking for a way of how to migrate the existing xen project machines to proxmox? I was only able to find a (quite old) migration guide from xenserver which is not suitable for our use case...
