Panic when importing zpool (invalid TYPE 66)

Just a quick update. I ordered a replacement for the suspect Crucial but was still panicking eventually when using zraid. I tried to round robin a raidz1 across 3 of my 4 disks but always led to the same panicking result. Standalone zpools works fine with good performances. ZRAID10 worked fine...

Panic when importing zpool (invalid TYPE 66)

Happy new year! Ok, I removed the Crucial but still got the Kernel Panic. I'll delete the pool and try to recreate one and investigate more. Thanks!

Panic when importing zpool (invalid TYPE 66)

Thanks @H4R0 . I tried reconnecting everything but got the same KP. I'll try disconnecting the Crucial. In the mean time I've reordered another SSD just in case. I'll update the post after more tests. Thanks and happy new year!

Panic when importing zpool (invalid TYPE 66)

Thanks @H4R0 I'll check the cables. Here's the smartctl -a output for each of the disks. Seems there's no issue. https://pastebin.com/wip5Uwan

Panic when importing zpool (invalid TYPE 66)

Hello, I run Proxmox v6.3 and I created a raidz-1 (3 disks with 1 parity) pool from these 3 SSDs: (I had to create it manually because of the difference in size). It initially worked well and I was able to move my VM storage to it. But after a few days running it kernel panicked and hung the...

Replicate default Proxmox LVM configuration when installing from Debian

Thanks a lot, I managed to get it work. Essentially what I was missing is actually the fact that it is needed to edit/create the file /etc/pve/storage.cfg

Replicate default Proxmox LVM configuration when installing from Debian

Hello, As I cannot install proxmox using the official Proxmox ISO (crappy EFI implementation on a mini-pc), I have first to install Debian and then Proxmox, as described in the Wiki. But I would need to replicate the default disk configuration so that I can easily migrate a VM from my other...

Storage Options for VMs, CTs and Client Computers

@Davidoff - sure, will do. I actually did already passthrough all my drives to an OpenMediaVault VM, but I'm not happy with the way it address drives and mount points and wanting to move back to a more familiar debian-approach. So currently I'm trying to make up my mind on wether I should use...

Storage Options for VMs, CTs and Client Computers

@Davidoff sorry, I indeed meant "... in a container" Thanks anyway for answering so quickly, I'll go ahead then (to me the permissions look more complex than the passthrough :D)

Storage Options for VMs, CTs and Client Computers

Hello, Sorry to dig out this thread but I basically have the exact same questions. @Davidoff, you mentionned you decided against having mergerfs + snapraid, could you please explain how you reached this decision? I'm on the verge of deciding the contrary, because to me it seems simpler to...
