@Dominic Thanks for the page edit, this is really helpful for others too. But maybe it is better to have this at the "Troubleshooting"-area, where you could include that `ipcc_send_rec[1] failed: Connection refused` fragment, as some users might see it there better. How do you think about it...

Thank you so much, I'm having a server provided by Strato, and that 127.0.1.1 line (which I ignored at first) was there by default.

Even if my test-bed isn't that big, but I can confirm this new kernel not having any negative effect for me, and solves my problem. Thanks a lot to @denos for the amazing research! Thanks to PROXMOX-team too!

I can second this, I do not use NFS, only ZFS (raid1/mirror-mode) with two drives, without having special ZFS-configuration (used out-of-box configuration). I'm having several QEMU/KVM-VMs running, some are producing some load, running containers are working, but after rebooting/shutting down...
