I'm interested in this (as well as my organization). We're relatively new to Proxmox, but not new to hypervisors in general, and think that such an addition would be great as we grow our installed base of hosts/clusters with Proxmox.

It appears to be happening here as well, only if a VM is set to some kind of HA State and we attempt to use the Backup feature. edit: Kind of a hack-y "fix" is to remove the affected VM's from HA, then add them back in. Not really an optimal option.
