Hi Dietmar thanks for your reply. Is there a config file or something similar that I need to edit to for the SAN to keep the same drive letter/name so that when I add the new local drive it the SAN isnt lost?
I have 2x local HDDs and a iSCSI attached SAN. If I add a new local HDD then I lose connection to the iSCSI disks presumably because the new drive gets the drive name that the SAN should have?
Can anyone give me the steps I need to take to add this new local disk the correct way so I dont lose...
Hi guys thanks for the replies. This was totally my fault, I hadnt given the correct permissions to the second proxmox server to access the SAN and the qm unlock trick seemed to work and bring the broken VM back to life.
Im encountering errors when trying to move live virtual machines, the error log shows the following..

As far as I know the host should be allowed to access the server. The secondary Win2k8 machine connects without any authentications and these servers are not part of a domain. If I enable CHAP authentication on the Microsoft iSCSI software target, where do I enter these credentials on the...
I'm not sure if it detects it or not, it just give me a pop up error saying "found no unused targets" when I hit the scan link. It works fine from other Windows Servers so I'm wondering if this is some sort of config thing that I'm missing in Proxmox?
I have a test Windows 2008R2 Server running the iSCSI software target. The virtual disk etc has been setup on this server and other Win 2k8 machines can connect to it with no problems.
I am trying to add an iSCSI target in the Proxmox admin gui to this Win 2k8 server but it always fails with...
