Hi all, I have a test Lab with specs:
3 node HP dl360 gen9
32 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz (2 Sockets)
96GB DDR4 ECC ram
3x Samsung PM1643 SAS SSD 1.92 TB /per node = 9 CEPH OSD SSDs in total
2x Intel 240gb SSD for OS /per node - zfs raid1 PVE OS setup
3x dual 10gb lan /per node...
There is no way to create a cluster-wide Template?
So scenario 1:
- Template VM is on the NFS cluster shared storage...
- Node with Template VM goes down...
I cant create VM on other nodes from template because Template VM node is not alive???

Recently I had this same problem with Proxmox and Freenas and I solved it by adding to Freenas hosts list its local ip from every interface - the idea I got from here: https://www.ericlight.com/when-the-problem-is-dns-freenas-and-nfs.html

This was a new one, created with Proxmox gui when VM was created.
Sheepdog dog vdi list, shows correct vdi size and usage, but proxmox presents it like a thick provision with full disk size as usage.

Hi, Im using pve-sheepdog for testing out a concept, but Im unable to find how to do storage tiering with sheepdog - how can I separate SSD and HDD storage pool if I have them both on each server?
