Hi!
My issue when starting my VM

Hi!
I want my ProxMox nodes to have a Private IP (INternal)
So something like
10.0.0.10
10.0.0.11
10.0.0.12
For each proxmox node.
Then, I want my KVM and LXC containers to use public IP's
A bad example for this:
8.8.8.8
4.4.4.4
etc etc etc
For each VM.
What is required to do this...
Hello!
I've recently updated from Proxmox 3 to 5 (fresh install)
I used OVH's installer. So the network is already setup on the bridge.
I then created a KVM VM, installed it and added the details according to:
https://docs.ovh.com/gb/en/cloud/dedicated/network-bridging/
After this, Nothing...
Yep. But only works for single IP's (which means, basicly, I can only route a whole subnet to a VM, I cannot create virtual mac addresses for each IP at Hetzner)
How should I cope with this? They told me to use a VM as router.
Hi!
I have recently installed Proxmox 5.0.
This is the networking right now:
http://prntscr.com/g5kzor
I need to add an additonal subnet. However, I do not know how to explain this the best:
In 3.4, I just needed to create a vmbr0 -> Then I could assign all IP's that was routed to my server...
Hi Dietmar.
I know I should update - But for me, LXCs network config is kind of crap as this server is using OVH. I'd have to add MAC addresses for each and every LXC container. Which means alot.
Would this work on Proxmox 4? I still cannot backup this server. It just hangs after the above.
Hi.
This is a normal backup made from the same server:

Hello everyone.
I have been a longtime user of ProxMox 3.4
After getting a new OVH server, I can see I do not have the option to use 3.4. I could install 3.4 manually ontop of Debian - But I'd also like to give Proxmox 4 a try
However, I am using this for a virtual hosting envoirment - And I...
Hi!
I have an unsecured server (No DDoS protection) and a secured one. I'd love to setup a GRE tunnel. On the source server (protected) everything is OK and ready to go.
The GRE tunnel is however going to a OpenVZ container.
As far as I know, iptunnel is not in the kernel by default.
Is this...
Hi there.
My proxmox server was running fine for over 4 months.
I then wanted to restart it - Which I did.
Now, I can see that all VM's under it is booted and running. SSH is responding and everything. The webinterface does just not load up. So I cannot actually access it.
Output from...
Hi there.
I installed pigz, which worked fine. But then out of nowhere, one Container gives an error (It can backup any other container)

Hi there.
This is the .conf file
# vzdump default settings
#tmpdir: DIR
#dumpdir: DIR
#storage: STORAGE_ID
#mode: snapshot|suspend|stop
#bwlimit: KBPS
#ionice: PRI
#lockwait: MINUTES
#stopwait: MINUTES
#size: MB
#maxfiles: N
#script: FILENAME
#exclude-path: PATHLIST
where should I put tmpdir?
Hi there!.
I have the problem right now that a KVM VM can access all public ips if he/she wants to.
I would like to have it filtered by MAC addreses.
Apparently, there is an option for this.
Can anyone tell me how or where?
