as I know, proxmox use ubuntu kernel as base, ubuntu zesty(17.04) will support 4.10 kernel and I think proxmox team use that http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git/ubuntu/ubuntu-zesty.git/ (see master-next) I'm not sure how long upcoming proxmox ve 5.0 takes to be released but I think this time waiting...
