Hello, in my environment we are currently undergoing an IP re-scheme so I am moving all of my servers to a new VLAN, I want to migrate my Proxmox cluster to the new IP scheme. At first we tried simply changing the ip of one of the hosts after migrating VMs off of it. We noticed the cluster lost...
I am not at work right now where I have my notes... I sleep :)
This will guide you the right direction....

Team,
I have a zvol for iscsi in my TrueNAS (FreeNAS Enterprise) system for my proxmox cluster shared storage.
My question is. Can I setup snapshot and replication of this zvol without creating any issues to the production cluster and running vm's? Would it interrupt the running vm's?
So I enable backups on Proxmox for my VM's.
I chose to do snapshots. My question is.... The VMS are in a HA group, Even though they are HA can they be backed up? I know that when you are in HA you cant reboot nor turn off the vm's....
Thanks for the help!
I wanted to add that you can use the same host name. It's a bit tricky. You have to delete the host from the cluster and delete any ssh keys associated with it. Than you can re-add it.
Can I setup HA as per the wiki while the VM's are online? I didn't see anywhere in the wiki where it states that vm's have to be power off.
TIA!
Regards,
One of my nodes in my cluster took a turn for the worst and puked a HDD. (See screenshot)
Can I just reinstall this node and add it back to the cluster?
Any documented procedures in cases like this?
Thanks!
Regards,
fireon,
Thanks for your reply.
The problem is not checking it. As my previous post states, The problem is that I am getting that email when there is no issues on the disk it self as per the raid console.
Any ideas how to make the email stop?
TIA.
