We currently use AMD servers for Proxmox but want to move to Intel. Intel uses hyperthreading but shows the threads as cores in cpuinfo. Can we safely assign the threads as vcores? Or is it better to stick with AMD and real cores.

Ah, this worked. We tried to add a server in the past but had problems adding it. It seems it somehow was in the cluster. pvecm e 1 solved it. Thnx ;)

KSM is used when you run out of resources. That's not the case here. The host has 32 GB RAM and currently 13 GB is used by the vps-es. In total 18 GB was assigned.
