Found it.
When you create a encrypted dataset on the rpool the feature "encryption" becomes active on the zpool. Grub is unable to detect the filesystem when that happens. Fortunately the encryption option reverts back to enabled when destroying the encrypted dataset and grub is detecting the...
Hi Guys,
I did a "zpool upgrade rpool" after the pve5 to 6 upgrade and now i can't boot anymore.
I get the following grub error:
error: no such device xxxxxxx
error: unknown filesystem
after chroot:
pveversion -v
proxmox-ve: 6.0-2 (running kernel: 5.0.15-1-pve)

Hi Guys,
I a trying to convert my samba lxc to a unprivleged one.
Lets assume for the sake of simplicity i have one directory to map: Downloads
host:
root@pve:~# ls -ln /wdpool/NAS/
drwxrwx--- 8 0 1002 11 Jun 20 10:35 Downloads
I only use the gid in my samba config, so i dont care...
Hey Morph027,
Do you know what i have to do whem my dst pool was unreachable for a couple of days. The recursive snapshots are out of sync (the dst snapshot is too old now and not syncing anymore)
I cant create a unpriv container with it:
extracting archive '/bds/NAS/Backups/proxmox/template/cache/debian-8.0-minimal_8.6-1_amd64.tar.gz'
tar: /bds/NAS/Backups/proxmox/template/cache/debian-8.0-minimal_8.6-1_amd64.tar.gz: Cannot open: Permission denied
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting...
Hi guys,
I can't use pve-zsync on lxc containers with a "mp" reference in the VMID.conf file. Like my previous requests i don't care about the state of the mount point because that is a different ZFS pool just used as bulk storage.
Is it a bug or do i need to make a feature request?
Greets...
oh! ok, do i need to restart reimport something? Because i just did:
"zfs set quota=4G wdpool/vm-disks/subvol-120-disk-1"
But still 0 b in the gui.
Thanks for the great support! I realy love what u guys have made here :)
EDIT: Nevermind, it was the refqouta ;-)!
Thanks again
hi Guys,
I think i found a little GUI bug.
When i first created my ZFS datastore "wdpool" the layout was like:
> wdpool/vm-110-disk-1
I deleted(removed) the storage in the proxmox gui and moved (zfs send-received) my vm datasets like:
> wdpool/vm-disks/vm-110-disk-1
and imported the wdpool...
