We used Proxmox as gateway to all SMTP traffic and there is no difference in 22k or 200 emails. You will probably need more hardware and bandwidth to handle the load.

It looks like heutger is Offline since May 2021. I hope he is OK, but I am planning to rewrite all 15 pages in one new post, because a lot changed. Some configurations are EOL and in PMG 7 some features are by default available.
