Hi all
I know the post is pretty old but I can't found the right working solution anywhere, so I decide to write it here:
The X3300M4 have 4 NIC onboard : 2 are enabled by default and 2 are enabled with FoD (additional license)
According to this document (pag 12) the default configuration say...
ok... I think I'm doing it in the right way but I need help now
I "mount/umount" the NFS NAS share using pvesh command
pvesh create /storage -storage Verbatim -type nfs -export /mnt/ide1/backup -server 192.168.0.249 -path /mnt/pve/Verbatim -options vers=3 -content backup
pvesh delete...
Don't worry for your persistent... I'm here just to ask what could be the best practices (and if it could be possible)
I say what I like to do, but it could be different from what really I will do!! :)
I'd like to try to schedule the mount / umount of the NAS using Crontab, and I like to know...
Hi
You got the point! I wanna simulate tape backup and I've already done on other system (not proxmox) using USB disks and rsync
The NAS I'm using are really small, and really similar by dimensions to USB disks.. and also cheapest than tape device...
Hi all
I would like to know if it is possible and wich is the best practices to perform a backup on 2 "rotating" NFS drive
Scenario:
-One disk is attached to the network for one week to perform daily backup

Hi all,
is it possible to assign some kind of autostart priority?
I have one KVM Firewall, with DHCP, DNS services, and other VM doesn't work well if this one isn't still completely available.
Thanks for great work

HOPE SOMEONE CONFIRM WHAT I'LL WROTE
I'm not Apache guru
Edit /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/pve.conf
Replace <VirtualHost *:80> and <VirtualHost *:443> with <VirtualHost YOURLANIP:80> and <VirtualHost YOURLANIP:443>

Because I configure the vmbr0 as WAN interface and vmbr2 as LAN
I configure in this way because i can use the proxmox gateway... Am I wrong?
I attach a network schema... let me know if you think there is some errors
As you can see, the proxmox physical interface is between the router and the...
You're right, I have 8 public IPs and I've done exactly as you say...
The only way I found to "not publish" the Proxmox server interface in internet was to change the apache configuration
In the past I used vmware server (1.0 and 2.0) and in those server was possibile to bridge a virtual nic...
I seize the moment... I did this configuration because I haven't find out how to set the public IP only in the virtual firewall, without setting another valid IP in the Proxmox physical interface... did I miss something?
Almost sure that are driver issues...but I changed nothing in the VM setup during the upgrade.
I'm trying to change the virtual NIC (virtio, ne2k, pcnet...) after the issues, but the only one that works a little bit are rtl8139 and e1000
I know IpCop is little bit old (still using 2.4 kernel)...
Hi all
I would thank you for Proxmox: it is really great

In my IpCop the log is
Sep 13 20:15:15 ipcop...
I added the disk manually in the /etc/qemu-server/300.conf and now I can see it in the web interface too
The machine doesn't boot, but this is another issue :)

Thanks for very fast reply
