On the OS tab You have to point where is an ISO file (image of OS install/boot disk). You already have space for ISOs (files) on "local" storage, there you should upload ISO file first then back to OS tab.
LVM storage (e.g. "local-lvm") will be used on "Hard Disk" tab where you point...
Hi there,
Anyone has working solution for direct restore qemu/vm from old proxmox to new one... in my scenario proxmox 2.1 -> 5.3 ?
Backup is in tar.lzo file. Either qmrestore nor qmcreate from archive doesn't work.. error: VM is locked (create).
I have no extra machine with proxmox 4 to do...
I find differential backups for qemu VMs very usefull (I belive that Im not alone) and there is ready solution, please consider to acquire it into PVE again.
It could be usefull for qemu LVM groups and files.

Yes, I know that over ssh console I can just move VM config (VMID.conf) manualy in /etc/pve/nodes/... between nodes when shared storage is used.
It just could be easier to see not working VM from dead node on PVE web console with option to move it for secondary admins.
HA is not always good...
Hmmm...
