I can ssh to proxmox node and to the VM which is backup.
The maximum number of backups is set to 30 and there are only 5 backup files currently in /var/lib/vz/dump where I am storing the backup.
It fails when there are 4 backup files but it works with 3.

I have a automatic backup every night which systematically fails with error:
vma_queue_write: write error - Broken pipe
If I try again the backup manually, it fails at the same point (21%);
It works if I delete an existing backup file.
I run PVE version 3.4-11

Problem solved. It works now.
The failed backup was preventing from rebooting. I had the impression that reboots works since my SSH console died. But it doesn't.
Now I hard reboot. Access to the web interface works.
The backup failure was due to lack of space for storage.

BTW: my browser is not happy and asks for confirmation when I try to connect. it shows NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID.
Is there a way to avoid this ?

install do nothing: pve-manager is already the latest version.
Should I remove pve-manager and install it again without any risk for stopping or bugging the server ?

Some fonts (window titles or in terminal for example) are not well displayed: they appeared in multi-colors, almost unreadable.
This happens on 13.10 ubuntu version: xubuntu, kubuntu, mint 16 ..
This occurs without desktop efefcts, even after bootoing from the CDRIM.
The client is windows 7...
I have the same problem : some fonts are not readable onn vnc console when connecting to kubuntu (or other ubuntu-like). This makes impossible to use these oses through the vnc console.
Some fonts are correctly rendered by not other (especially in the kubuntu terminal).
