Problem solved. It works now. The failed backup was preventing from rebooting. I had the impression that reboots works since my SSH console died. But it doesn't. Now I hard reboot. Access to the web interface works. The backup failure was due to lack of space for storage. Thanks

I have the same problem : some fonts are not readable onn vnc console when connecting to kubuntu (or other ubuntu-like). This makes impossible to use these oses through the vnc console. Some fonts are correctly rendered by not other (especially in the kubuntu terminal).
