.members is a read-only file that's compiled when creating a cluster configuration. At least that's my understanding. Otherwise this would have been easy. =)

just wanted to add my solution. I had exactly the same problem on a Dell T620 with E5-2620 CPUs. I changed the CPU type to Sandy Bridge, and after that the installation works.
