I've removed pve-manager and then reinstalled it... Now the problem with stalled updates is gone...
But the node still doesn't connect to the cluster.
Is there any way to fix that, or do I need to reinstall pve from scratch on that node?
Well... I did that on all my 5 nodes... and only one has problems... I doubt it's even remotelly connected to missing dependencies, or more nodes would have been affected.
Hi,
Just tried to update (apt update; apt upgrade) and at some point the update process stopped.
I've tried rebooting, and running 'dpkg --configure -a' but it can't get any further than to 'Setting up pve-manager (7.3-3) ...' and hangs there.
Can someone help me fix that?
P.S. Also the node...
I didn't write anywhere that I'm sharing from VM to VM.
I'm sharing from host to VM's. That's why I wrote 'same here...'
The Ubuntu VMs are the ones giving me most problems. But I suppose that if I used the shared drives as much on other os VMs the effect would be similar.
For now... Samba is...
It's a relativelly new proxmox install since I've decided to move my config to proxmox less than 2 weeks ago.
But from the start I've had problems with nfs shared disk access from my Ubuntu 20.04 so a few days ago I've installed 22.04 and nothing changed.
Now I moved to samba shares instead of...
Because I need Server, and 2 (maybe 3) things from Desktop.
No such log file here. But that's ok - I gave up on this. I can use the res that's set to get things done.
No more time to fiddle with this.
Same here, but this xrandr --output Virtual-0 --auto hangs my desktop (and still doesn't resize the desktop - I do mean resize, eg change the resolution, not scale with window, which worked allways)
... And the story continues... As @vooze suggested I'm now in the process of trying to setup a Vega 64 (Sapphire RX Vega 64 8 GB in my case) instead of the GTX... As I found out in the process those are to troublesome. Lots of AMD cards suffer from "AMD reset bug" - this means that if the card...
Hi,
I've tried to PT my PCI-E USB controller to a vm, and each time I've tried to start the vm the whole PVE server stopped responding.
Do those mean I can't easily PT the controller?:
