Hallo,
ich habe gerade bei Proxmox 5.1 mit apt update && apt dist-upgrade updates eingespielt.
Dabei kamen folgenden Fehlermeldungen
/etc/fstab:
Eigentlich nutze ich imho gar kein ZFS, sprich es gibt außer dem ext4 für root nur das Thin-LVM für die VMs.
Dennoch wüsste ich gerne, was da...
Hi,
thanks for your answer.
Can I stop lvm2-lvmetad while the server is in use and VM are running?
Thinking about the message
I think about the value of use_lvmetad=0.
In /etc/lvm/lvm.conf
Shouldn't I set it to use_lvmetad=1 ?
Hi,
I updated Proxmox 5 just now and a new kernel was installed. I get warnings about lvm while updating the grub config:
pvscan delivers the same warnings
Google search is finding a bug anounced at red hat from this year, the other stuff is older...
Hello,
is it possible that internal connections between vms via the same vmbr are unstable in proxmox?
I have problems with that and another user of my system made the same experiences, so he had to devirtualize one host to get a stable connection between the two hosts.
Or ist there a...
correction: The IPCop is configured with Intel E1000 because virtio doesn't work.
So I matter if it would be better to configure the Debian VM also with Intel E1000. But I don't think that this would make a difference.
Hello,
I've got 2 VMs installed on a Proxmox-Server. An IPCop and a Debian server. The internet connection of the debian server is realized through the IPCop. So both have configured vmbr1 to communicate. Both are configured with virtio nics.
vmbr1 is also connected to a real nic in the...
I configured the new router to the ip range of the other one so I could reach the webfrontend of proxmox again. Then I reconfigured vmbr0 in the webfrontend to the ip range and new ip of the new router. After reconfiguring the routers ip range to the original one and a restart of proxmox, I...
Just found this:
http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Proxmox_VE_2.0_Cluster
I hope it isn't really true that I can't use the proxmox Server with another router with other ip range without reinstalling.
Please tell me what can I do.
I installed Proxmox at home on a Router with ip range 192.168.178.x and the proxmox configuration page is reachable with https://192.168.178.120:8006
Now I want to use the Proxmox serve at school with another router (ip range 192.168.0.x) but the ip for the configuration page is still the same...
But locally I have no graphic Interface installed, so I also don't have a Browser to run. The CLI command line tool is still working, but I can't configure mail notification etc. there.
I booted Win 7 and used IE and it worked fine. But when I pushed the button to test the mail notification, the error of disconnection occured again and I'm not able to get any connection to the configuration frontend anymore. :(
So I am wondering if i would ever have the possibility to...
I just installed the 3com configuration software http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Raid_controller#3dm2_Management_tool
But when I try to open https://ip:888 I geht a message that the server is not available. (Firefox 12.0 under Ubuntu 12.04)
When I open a ssh tunnel, I geht a blank site.
What's wrong?
I solved the Problem.
"unknown user (local)" I could solve by adding a local user on the proxmox server.
"unknown user (relay)" I could solve by adding the local username as alias to the used mail account on the relayhost.
Now I'll try if backup mails will also be sent to the given external...
ok i'll try.
But in my opinion the main problem ist this:
Apr 14 20:24:22 proxmox postfix/smtp[19340]: 9AFBA1CA0B5: to=<user@domain.de>, relay=mbox1.belwue.de[129.143.2.21]:25, delay=2.8, delays=0.02/0.01/0.76/2, dsn=5.0.0, status=bounced (host mbox1.belwue.de[129.143.2.21] said: 573...
Hello,
my proxmox server has a non static internet connection.
I want to deliver mails to an extern mail adress using a relayhost.
Actually postfix doesn't deliver mails.
Trying to send a mail to user@domain.de
/var/log/mail.log

thanks for your answers.
Is the memory content also backuped using the snapshot mode?
Or would it be better to make backups in the suspend mode as Udo wrote?
