If anything happens to one node your backups will fail. I had all kinds of issues with 2 node, I finally broke it and just do backups from shared NFS storage on each Truenas server. I cross backup so the backups are on the other server.

Thanks, will try that. but netcat shouldn't be disk bound. Did I just misread the results. Od that I get the same either over the 1gig or 10gig side? maybe proxmox isn't sending the traffic over the network card after all.

Even though the Bridge and Nic shows 10Gb, I only seem to get 1Gb speed? Am I just missing something? I wanted to remount my VM storage share to load over the Bridge thinking it would be faster and maybe safer knowing that my HP Z4 has the network interface bug. Maybe I am chasing Unicorns...

Question, I know this is an old thread: Has anyone been able to get a PCIe X1 card working in the Z4. I have tried three that I have and none show up in the dmesg log as a discovered device. I would like to get a working NIC instead of the buggy integrated ones. Thanks! Rob

I had my primary node fail. I removed it from the cluster. built new 7.3-3 node and joined it to the old cluster. It sees all the storage but none of the VMs. What is odd, this is the 2nd time I installed this node.. is that I can move the vm.conf from one node manually and it will run but not...
