Just throwing my own 2c in here on this. I ran into the same issue bridge-vids 2-4094 - was not liked bridge-vids 2 4 10 - for vlan 2 4 and 10 was liked I had to reboot the VM environment for this to take effect.

Further update: Following the cron-job details in this thread. I created a cron to restart the services on reboot. A bit of a messy work around, but it did what I needed too. If anyone in the know wants to reply, i would be grateful in finding out how I discover what "dependency" was stopping...
