You are going to have to help me with the ZFS question @Ieesteken.
Maybe as I moved location of the VM Host into the comms cabinet rather than the office its heated up. Ill move it back and check.
Is there a way to clear the error count and monitor?
Hi @Ieesteken
I do, although I have a strange feeling my backups are on that drive.
The funny thing is, that a reboot has the system working correctly now and will for a period of time, is that still symthomatic of drive or fiel system correcuption.
Is there anything I can run while its in this...
Hi guys

I cannot reboot the system normally and have to force the command, using
//systemctl --force --force reboot
If I try to do a dist update I get errors and the...
[SOLVED] edit the VM.conf file [SOLVED]
Hi guys,
Ill start this with. Never do admin audit stuffs when sick and your head is not 100% lesson learned.
So today I was doing some updates and spring cleaning on my Proxmox install. This includes approx 5 VMs
3 running Ubuntu 20.04
2 running Ubuntu...
Just throwing my own 2c in here on this.
I ran into the same issue
bridge-vids 2-4094 - was not liked
bridge-vids 2 4 10 - for vlan 2 4 and 10 was liked
I had to reboot the VM environment for this to take effect.
Hi guys, thanks for the response.
I detailed my "troubleshooting" a bit more here
@mijanek I agree with you and the cron-job is just a work around. However, my linux skillset is minimal when it comes to processes vs networking. So Im not sure, how I go about troubleshooting what dependency was...
@mijanek
I have 2 adapters one 2.5g ethernet the other wireless, the wireless is clearly identified with a W. I dont know why I have the 2 remark on my wired adapter unless it's just the pci slot its attached too maybe.
Either way the cron job is working. I tried to disable that dependency but...
Further update:
Following the cron-job details in this thread. I created a cron to restart the services on reboot.
A bit of a messy work around, but it did what I needed too.
If anyone in the know wants to reply, i would be grateful in finding out how I discover what "dependency" was stopping...
@sammy2k8
Ive been experiencing a very similar issue with my new Asus PN50, albeit with a Realtek NIC. I thought initially it may have been a driver issue but eventually discovered it to be some service was stopping network services from starting, the above cron job did the job...pardon the...
Ok least I know Im on the right track, but what dependency.
What I have been able to do is run
1. systemctl stop networking
2. systemctl start networking.
The vmbr0 and physical interface come up and work perfect, full connectivity.
However, if I reboot then the issue comes back and as the...

Hey guys.
Have myself a new Asus PN50 and installing Proxmox on it. I have followed some of the tutorials, but as Im running the newer build of promox I thought most of these drivers were installed. During the installation the proxmox install detected the realtek NIC and infact as DHCP was...

Hey guys.
I didnt want to create a new thread over something very similar. Have myself a new Asus PN50 and installing Proxmox on it. Like the OP if I do a
"ip addr show" I see my RealTek 2.5G 8125 but it's in a down state despite it being connected to a working switch port.
Further if I do a...
