UPDATE: From my experience proxmox does not do well with Broadcom NICs. If you are having trouble installing proxmox and have a Broadcom NIC, switch it out for an Intel based and it should work fine.
Thanks for the help. I did try installing previous versions of proxmox as well. Someone told me that proxmox might not support the Broadcom chipset that the NIC uses. Do you know if proxmox doesn't support Broadcom drivers? I have ordered an Intel NIC and it is going to be arriving today so...
When I try installing Proxmox with the NIC installed, it crashes.
When I install without the NIC it installs perfectly fine but I can't access the web interface (because there is no NIC) and if I install the NIC after proxmox is installed, it doesn't boot correctly and gives an error message...
