Hi Seiji, thanks to reply. I think it's ok now. I use proxmox for years but situations sometimes make you discover new things even for an "old" user lol.
All my vm are backup so i'm good for this.
Greetings.
Update : i think have to try this ...
Hi,
I have a LXC running well but now it runs out of disk space. I add by "size increment".
Question : is that correct way to do ? I mean this new size will recongnize automatically by the LXC Container ?
How could I verify that ?
(before it was "23G" now I have "56G")
Hi,
I actually try to install Cyberpanel (recently I need to tell that I install it on ESXi and all fine at 1st time). I try Ubuntu 20.04.. 18.04... Always have this :
Check SWAP... ping: unknown host
Help :-/
Your server would be perfect (I love Supermicro!). For me proxmox is not very hardware selective. (Compare to E..s..x........).
Be sure to take the package Enterprise to keep your system up to date and secure. ;)
Hi @oguz
Thanks for reply.
its about several years i use now proxmox (as well Esxi : use this one even longer...). I of course try a lot of possbilities each time Including commands etc...
To be admin and cannot even force to stop a VM (no matter what..) it is sooooo .. how to say...
Please do you plan something for force stop a VM ?
As it is impossible and only way i find is reboot all PVE ! :(
(And yes i look with google but dont find way to stop the vm... sound crazy hein?)
Ok use this infos here (for Proxmox-ve_7.0-2)
"We need to configure rsyslog to accept incoming log messages from other hosts. We’ll need to edit the file /etc/rsyslog.conf to achieve this. We’ll uncomment the four lines below to enable both TCP and UDP"
# provides UDP syslog reception...
I mean I cannot simply set the mail server and mail login/pw for notification by parameters settings in proxmox.
Is there a simple settings to send log to remote syslog ? (I mean by a graphic setting in Proxmox.)
Yes already. Looks complicate....
Proxmox dont have a "normal" email notification. Now it confirm that dont have option to send log to remote server. well well not easy the proxmox....
What do you mean by this ?
