Aside from the problems that would arise with GLACIER storage class, some providers offer cheaper classes, eg Scaleway: their STANDARD is the multi-AZ backend while ONEZONE_IA is a cheaper yet still retrievable one. In such case it'd be nice to be able to specify an arbitrary name for storage...
