VM with Ubuntu 18.04. Filesystem periodically enters in read-only mode

Hi all, Although we are not getting any answer (or properly speaking, we are answering ourselves :) ) we will continue updating the post for future new proxmox users just in case they experience the same issue. Today we had a couple of systems in Read Only mode. Fortunately, we had configured...

VM with Ubuntu 18.04. Filesystem periodically enters in read-only mode

Hi all, We have experienced the issue again. Executing a fsck fixed the problem but it is a random issue as it happens in different proxmox servers with different disks models where vmdisks are stored. We have experienced it in two different hosts, with Intel SSD disks in Mirror (ZFS) All the...

VM with Ubuntu 18.04. Filesystem periodically enters in read-only mode

    Proxmox backup client

Hi everyone, We are planning to install Proxmox backup client in a freebsd environment but we are not sure whether this option is supported or not, as, as far as we have seen, it is only supported (or tested) in Debian and derivated. In case it is supported, would it be possible to have access...

System creates a device in /dev when we create a VM using ZFS

Hi all, First of all, I would like to remark that we are totally new at Proxmox, so sorry if we post really basic questions. We have been provided with a physical server with Proxmox VE 6.36. We have configured ZFS, as we have been working with it during years without any issue. We have...
